Design Principles

Philosophy

AHA believes that innovation has been supplanted by marketing hype in the modern world. This focus has a great deal to do with maximising company profitability.

Our philosophy is to use profits to create innovative solutions.

Clients will learn that AHA wants to know everything about the vehicle which is being proposed. Even when there is nothing more than a rough sketch on a serviette, AHA will examine whether that design will fulfill the needs expressed by the client. If the design is found wanting, then it will be changed until the best configuration has been found.

Since the majority of our craft are custom built (built-to-order), then our costs reflect the cost of development. We make no secret of this; that is the nature of the business of AHA. To partly offset such costs, we maintain a very lean corporate structure, and minimal overheads. We use fixed contracts for most of the work we do, outplaced to specialists.

Thus, each new craft produced by AHA is possibly unique. In a world of mass production, AHA craft are highly visible. This is a deliberate outcome of the AHA philosophy of innovation.
