Timing

Each aircraft and surface craft is built to order.

This means that we need to initiate a manufacturing process as a response to your Order. We use sub-contractors with specialised skills; they need to have the opportunity to sit down, look at the proposal, and to accept the task. We call this arrangement an "associative network".

The manufacturing process involves a large number of stages. We program as much as is possible to have processes running in parallel; sometimes things need to be sequenced, and we wait for others to complete tasks. Nevertheless, our aim is to fulfill your order in a timely manner. We will keep you informed as to the stage of works. You are welcome, by arrangement, to visit our facility in Eugene to ascertain the status of your project. You will be made aware of which contractors are also willing to have you visit their facilities.

Completion of each craft is an outcome towards which we work with pride. Our contractors take a personal interest in each project; they attend the "launching" of each new craft.

The timing of completion can be estimated, but it is not guaranteed by AHA. We will not enter into a contract with a fixed completion date; we consider that to be tantamount to encouraging unsafe working procedures. Safety and quality are high priorities to AHA and its contractors.
